Our craftsman are trainers and at NWFA and floor inspectors. Archetypal provides a wide range of flooring services including floor consulting, sales, installation, refinishing onsite and off site. Our showroom is conveniently located right off of the Queensboro Bridge in Long Island City, NY. Archetypal is insured and licensed to provide flooring installation, repair and refinishing services in Manhattan as well in all 5 boroughs of NY.

Floor Installation Services
We offer installation and sales of the following types of hardwood floors: glue down, floating and nail down. In addition to wide range of exotic wood floors Archetypal is also a certified installer of almost all major floor manufacturers for various types of laminate engineer or PVC (100% water proof) flooring. Archetypal’s floor installation specialists are experienced in the most difficult sub-floor preparation environments. Leveling, flattening and even building a floating sub-floor to avoid nailing into the concrete are part of our every day floor installation process. Floor Sanding and Refinishing
When it comes to refinishing of an existing flooring Archetypal is using environmentally friendly water based or vegetable oil based finishes. All our finishes are low V.O.C. and Greenguard Certified and compliant to standards of Greenguard Environmental Institute. In addition, Archetypal is using dustless equipment ensuring maximum dust containment during the sanding process. We are specialist in custom coloring specifically in dark coloring while our floors can dry as fast as within couple hours.
